John Matthews * CEO
aka The Tech Pastor, John is the visionary leader and creator of the E-Bless App. John received his certifications in New Business Models from the Darden School of Business and completed his studies in financial technology (fintech) from HarvardX (Harvard University's online learning initiative by edX). John has served in faith-based ministry for over two decades and now serves as the Pastor of Psalm 91 Ministries in Baltimore, Md. John is passionate about helping to bring non-predatory financial services to under-served and under-banked communities. John is embarking upon a journey to make the brand of e-Bless the #1 P2P payment platform in the nation.
Shannan Taylor * COO/CFO
AKA the "Money Queen." Shannan has over 2 decades of experience in financial management. Shannan has been a leader in the non-profit sector with a focus on teaching young women the power of financial literacy, helping to raise up the next generation of professional women and women led business owners and investors.
Mike Subelsky* Advisor/Fractional CTO
Mike is an entrepreneur and software engineer based in Baltimore, Maryland. He has over 15 years of experience building software products; he was the co-founder of OtherInbox (acquired by ReturnPath) and STAQ (acquired by Operative). He advises several tech startup companies, mentors new engineers, and writes nonprofit fundraiser software at Bonterra.
Faith Matthews * Lead Administrator
Faith makes so much of the magic happen behind the scenes; Faith is the glue that holds everything together. She is certified in search engine optimization (SEO) and she operates as our social media and marketing guru. Faith brings a well of experience and knowledge to the team.
About Us
E-Bless was born to make giving more enjoyable. We are more than just a free mobile app. We are a group of family and friends joined with one goal: to give faster, easier and better. It all started when we realized how common it is for guests to forget their gifts when attending a wedding, birthday celebration, or their offering in their place of worship. Surprisingly, no one ever forgets their phone. So why not provide the perfect app to help them? We did not want to create a “just send money” app. We wanted our app to give users the ability to make their gifts more unique and thoughtful, by adding an e-Card or a personalized video. Our team is fueled by passion to ensure our user’s experience is as enjoyable as possible as there is always something to celebrate.
